What are the home care instructions after DPN removal?After your DPN removal procedure, the area may feel irritated. Redness and scabbing are normal. Follow these steps to ensure proper healing: Avoid touching the treated area for 24-48 hours to minimize infection risk. Keep the area dry and avoid activities that cause perspiration. Do not pick at the treated area to avoid hyperpigmentation, infection, or scarring. Use mild cleansing products around the treated area. Avoid applying makeup for at least 24 hours. Refrain from using skin lightening, exfoliation, and peeling products for at least 14 days post-healing. Healing typically takes about six days, but it may take up to 10-14 days for larger treated areas.

What should I do after a microdermabrasion treatment?After microdermabrasion, follow these steps for optimal results: Avoid aerobic exercise or vigorous activity until redness subsides. Completely avoid direct sunlight and strong UV exposure immediately following treatment. Use a sunscreen with at least SPF 30. Cleanse your face twice daily with water or a mild soap substitute like CerVa. For areas other than the face, cleanse once daily followed by sunscreen. If you have any questions or concerns, consult your therapist immediately.

How should I prepare for and care for my skin after a microneedling session?Prior to your microneedling session: Do not use Retin-A or auto-immune products 24 hours before treatment. Avoid prolonged sun exposure. Do not apply makeup on the day of treatment. Schedule Botox treatments at least two weeks before microneedling. After your microneedling session: You may look like you have a sunburn and feel warm or tight. This should subside within 24 hours. Use tepid water to rinse the treated area for the first 24 hours. Afterward, use a gentle cleanser for 72 hours. Apply gentle moisturizers and avoid makeup for 48 hours. Use a broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen with at least SPF 30 for two weeks. Avoid alpha hydroxy acids, beta hydroxy acids, Retinol, Vitamin C in low pH formulas, and abrasive tools for at least three days post-treatment. Do not swim or exercise strenuously for the first 72 hours post-treatment.

What are the post-treatment care instructions for chemical peels?After a chemical peel: Avoid aerobic exercise or vigorous activity for the first 48 hours. Avoid direct sunlight and strong UV exposure immediately following treatment. Use a sunscreen with at least SPF 30. Cleanse your face twice daily with water or a gentle cleanser. Moisturize your face at least twice daily. Do not use glycolic acid or exfoliation products during the healing process. Do not peel, rub, or scratch your skin. Contact your skincare therapist immediately if you experience painful areas or blisters.

What should I do after a waxing treatment?To ensure maximum comfort and benefit after waxing: Avoid applying heat to the waxed area for 12-24 hours. Use anti-acne lotion for face, back, and chest if needed. Avoid suntanning and highly fragranced products for 12-24 hours. Avoid using harsh abrasives or exfoliates in the waxed area. Avoid applying high SPF sunblock to the waxed area for 12-24 hours. Slight pinking of the skin is normal and should disappear within 6-8 hours.

Are there any contraindications for microdermabrasion treatment?Yes, the following conditions are contraindications for microdermabrasion and must be disclosed prior to treatment: Active infection (e.g., Herpes simplex virus, flat warts) Active acne, sunburn, recent use of glycolic acids, alpha hydroxy acids, and Retin-A Recent chemical peel procedure, uncontrolled diabetes, eczema, dermatitis, skin cancer, vascular lesions Oral blood thinner medications, rosacea, tattoos (not effective), pregnancy, use of Accutane within the last year Family history of hypertrophic scarring or keloid formation, telangiectasia/erythema
